God told Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse".
If a person has been given this promise, what do you expect when you bless him/her? In my opinion, I should be blessed.
As nowhere its written that I will curse those who bless you, and as you do not know who all have inherited Abraham's promise, so its safe to bless one and all - especially those whom God has blessed.
